I recently noticed an online search which led to our blog specifying 'when are there no children?' Well that is an excellent question. We have - historically- specific times of the season that families book.
From our opening day in mid May to mid July, as well as the month of September- we rarely have any family trips and therefore less children present at those times. For families looking to book at the resort, we always recommend August as the prime family month. We continue to build (child to adult ratio) right to the end of August just before children go back to school.
I can tell you right now that we have 26 adults and 18 children in the camp, but in a couple weeks we will have more children than adults.
So if you are looking for the best time to book a romantic getaway at the resort- I'd recommend September. And, if you are looking for a week where your children can make new friends- always look at August.

Thanks for the suggestion! Sounds lovely, especially this time of year.
